I wrote this song sitting at the piano one night and it was inspired by one of my trips to Croatia. My man is into spear diving and I would sit on the boar watch him dive deeper and deeper until he would disappear into the darkest blue of the Adriatic Sea...this is where the lyrics "let me be your darkest blue" came from...I want to him to be as passionate about me as he is about the Adriatic Sea. I love story telling in my songs...
Together with Kathy Sommer and Matt Anthony we created to production and to this date this is my favorite song that I have written to date.
